Travelling by train

The VMscope is located directly bext to the cenral station (Hauptbahnhof) in Berlin. On foot it will take you 5 minutes (see site plan).

Travelling by car

Navigation systems will find the Charité hospital using the address “Charitéplatz 1”. Older devices might have the address “Schumannstrasse 20-21, 10117 Berlin”. Both leads to the main university hospital gate. Parking sites around are very rare. As short-time visitor of VMscope you can ask the gate keeper for entry to the Charité area. Please use the parking site behind the institute of pathology.

Travelling by plane

Arriving at the airport Tegel (TXL), the easiest way is taking the bus line “TXL”. The bus departs directly at the airport, direction Alexanderplatz. Get off at the bus stop “Karlplatz”. From there it takes you 5 minutes on foot, see site plan.

Arriving at the airport Schönefeld (SXF), take the 5 minutes walk to the train station “Flugahfen Schönefeld”. Best choice there is a regional train, direction Berlin central station. An alternative, but a but slowlier is the metro train (S-Bahn), line S9, direction Spandau, again get off at central station (Hauptbahnhof). From there it takes you 5 minutes on foot, see site plan.
