VMscope GmbH will take part at three conferences until July 2010 with an industry booth and in some cases with lectures. The conferences are:
"Week of Pathology" End of May in Berlin,
"TIGA-Workshop" end of June in Heidelberg
"4th Int. Congress on Virtual Microscopy" Beginning of July in Vilnius.

27.08.2009 - VMscope to take part in research project "Virtual Specimen Scout"
The "Berliner Zukunftsfonds" approved the funding of the "Virtual Specimen Scout" research project. In this project, the institute of pathology of Charité Berlin, the division Computer Vision and Remote Sensing of TU Berlin as well as VMscope GmbH and others will develop new tools for the use of Virtual Microscopy in routine pathology. Major goals are reference case databases and diagnose supporting image analysis. The project is supported with funds of the german federal state of Berlin.

06.06.2008 - VMscope receives DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate
The “TÜV Nord Cert” issued VMscope GmbH the certificate for their quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. The quality management system was certified for development, assembly and distribution of hard- and software for medicine and industry with the focus on pathology as well as maintenance, support and services in this field.
02-26-2008 - More than a thousand virtual slides in IAP education portal
The digital education portal of the IAP -german division (a VM Histoportal project of VMscope GmbH), achieves two new records at a time with completion of the 35th slide collection: The whole portal now contains 1,030 virtual slides which need 1,008 GB storage space only for the image data.
09-07-2007 - VMscope is exclusive distributor of the “Digital Slidebox”
From now on, VMscope GmbH is exclusive distributor for Germany, Austria and Switzerland for “Digital SlideBox” of the irish company “Slidepath”. DigitalSlideBox is the world leading digial slide solution for education.
03-16-2007 - Prize Winner of the European ICT prize 2007
On CeBIT in Hanover, VMscope GmbH is honored with the title “prize winner” of the european ICT prize by the EU cimissioner Viviane Reding. The ICT prize is the most famous european IT-prize.
12-05-2006 - Finalist of German Internet prize 2006
VMscope GmbH is elected as finalist of the German Internet prize on the “ITK Mittelstandstag”.
05-09-2006 - University hospital Aachen orders VM Histoportal
From now on, the Institute of Pathology, University hospital Aachen, offers a digital histology course based on the solutions of VMscope GmbH.
03-16-2006 - Winner concept phase of “Science4Life” competition
VMscope is elected the winner of the concept phase of the “Science4Life” businessplan competition.
02-16-2006 - Multimedia Formation of the Year 2006: 1st place
Together with Vis-a-pix GmbH VMscope is awarded the Multimedia Formation of the Year by the federal ministry for economics and technology.
